Step 1: Define ICP ( ideal customer profile )

- Industry
- Job titles / Role
- Location
- Seniority Level

Step 2: Build your email list
There are two ways to build your email list for cold campaigns:
- Buying the list
- Scraping the list
You should try to avoid buying an email list, always build yours. One of the popular ways to build email lists is through LinkedIn scraping.

Step 3: Email verification
It is important to make sure all your emails are verified to avoid bounces. Email providers like Gmail ban accounts or push emails to spam if your bounce rate is high.
Bounce = spammer. So make sure all your emails are verified.
Step 4: EMail infrastructure
Here’s the technical setup required for cold emailing:
- Buying a new domain or creating a subdomain (never use the primary domain); redirect the new domain or subdomain to the primary domain.
- Use a paid email provider if possible for best deliverability.
- To avoid junk/spam folders, set up SPF, DKIM & DMARC email records for your domain.
- Setup email campaigns :
- Prefer quality over quantity — start with 10-30 emails per week.
- Gradually increase up to sending 50 emails per day per email account.
- Have a continuous amount of emails sent daily (avoid batch and blast).
- Check your deliverability and improve based on suggestions on Glockapps. Use Postmasters tools by Gmail to learn from Gmail delivery errors, spam reports, feedback loops, and more.

- Add value with each follow-up instead of repetition.

- Send to individuals(avoid group emails such as sales@, info@, etc.)
- Send to business emails.
